Comfort and price
There is no substitution to a comfortable armchair. You may like an armchair for lounging in, a comfy seat for sprawling.
Take time to sit and try on an armchair to find out if it fits you.
l If you like support for head and shoulders try an
upright high back chair and probably with wings.
l Consider the member who use the armchair such as seat
height and depth; back height and length.
- Low seats are difficult for elderly people to get up from
- Tall people with long legs need a deeper seat
- Very soft sofas don’t support your back properly
- A low back will not support your head and shoulders
- The arm rests should be at a comfortable height
l Soft stuffing and cushions is not very good for posture
but encourage sprawling.
l Low armed chair make an ideal for curl up in.
